Typically speaking, the Cuyahoga County Fire Chiefs meet monthly to discuss current Fire / EMS events and pressing issues within Cuyahoga County and its surrounding communities. Meetings are held in the Independence area simply because of its central location in our county. (Thank you, Independence, for being such great hosts!) The monthly meetings are presided over by the CCFCA President and the CCFCA Executive Board. The Board is comprised of four county fire chiefs each elected to their position by the body on a staggered 2-year term.
Within the CCFCA are also numerous committees and representatives of other public safety related organizations. It is our hope that through this continued and close collaboration we will make our county safer and a more prosperous place to live, work and thrive.
